Child Development Associate Training Program
Getting a CDA—Child Development Associate Credential is the first step toward becoming a professional in the field of Early Childhood Education. Our program offers 120 clock hours or 12 CEUs of face to face comprehensive trainings in the following 8 Core Knowledge and Skills Areas:
- Child Growth and Development
- Health and Safety
- Professional Practice, Methods and Curriculum
- Guidance
- Family and Community Relationships
- Diversity
- Observation and Assessment
- Professionalism
The course is designed to meet one night a week and two Saturdays a month or 10 Saturdays in one semester. We will teach the course at your location if there are at least 10 to 15 candidates, and your school can invite others in your area to participate in the class to enable you to use your location.
