Directors
Director's Credential Training Program
Your Director’s/Administrators Credential can be earned by taking this course. Our company is one of 9 approved by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services - Child Care Licensing to instruct and award this credential. We currently offer our Director's Credential classes in 5 major markets throughout the state:
- Houston
- Austin
- Dallas
- San Antonio
- Corpus Christi.
All you need to do is meet these few requirements:
- Show evidence that you are at least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a licensed child care center or registered family home
- Evidence of education - high school diploma or GED - or college transcript
The classes consist of 40 hours of face to face instruction and completion of 10 projects and passing a test by at least 85%. Once the course requirements are completed and the candidate is assigned to a child care program or registered family home, paper work is sent to licensing and the Director’s Credential and designation is completed.
