THE NAEYC ACCREDITATION SYSTEM
EFFECTIVE SINCE SEPTEMBER 16, 2006
On September 16, 2006, the new NAEYC Accreditation Standards went into effect. Judy Carnahan-Webb of Creative Trainers and Consultants has worked with many centers to help them in their efforts towards NAEYC accreditation under this system. Since 2006, Judy has attended trainings at the national NAEYC Conferences and NAEYC Professional Development Institute Conferences, Texas AEYC State Conferences and has acted as the local Houston Area AEYC and NAEYC Accreditation Chair. She has worked diligently with ECE programs over the years to help them in building a stronger team of teachers, administrators and families to improve the quality of their early childhood education program and to help them achieve and maintain their NAEYC Accreditation.
